The opening video of i Light Marina Bay 2012 was screened at the container boxes known with the artwork known as After Light created by Storybox from New Zealand. Inside these containers located at The Promontory, lies the artworks by local students from Singapore School of the Arts (SOTA) and LASELLE College of the Arts.
While walking from The Promontory towards the Marina Bay City Gallery, you will notice 10 over of these little huts forming a line. Gap the Mind is by a Thailand artist, Be Takerng Pattanopas. For the first time in Singapore’s history since the Merlion was inaugurated in 1972, it is given a 3D makeover with the artwork, Light of the Merlion by Portugal duo, Nuno Maya and Carole Purnelle, known as OCUBO. How beautiful is the Merlion lighting up the nightscape of Marina Bay!

I felt that Key Frames by Groupe LAPS is one of the most stunning artwork at i Light Marina Bay 2012. I’ve taken a short video clip of it and you can view it below. I promise watching the full “show” live is so much more stunning!
